I'm pretty sure CO DMV sends these but I've never received one and I don't know why. I understand that it's no one's responsibility other than my own to keep track of it, but I'd still prefer to receive a notice. Anybody else have this happen and/or know why it happens (or doesn't happen, as it were)?
And I'm hoping you all can help answer a couple questions.
First is fit. I had to order them online due to living in a "skating desert". I measured my feet per guidance here and elsewhere and provided that information to the sales rep who recommended a size for both the skates and intuition liners. First impressions are that they feel a little too small, but I believe that is a sign that they will fit once broken in. I have no heel lift at all and my toes are touching the front of the liner just slightly more than is comfortable. Does that sound about right? Also, with the Intuition Premium liners, it tag says no heating is required, but is there potential benefit with using the rice sock method that'd be worth the hassle?
My other question is related to the squeakiness of the skates. The movement and friction between the liners and shells cause constant rrrttt rrrttt rrrttt noises as I move around the house. I read elsewhere that some have recommend rubbing a light bit of wax on the liners, but the liners have silicone pads meant to prevent them from moving in the shell, so I'm not sure this is a good recommendation. Do we just live with the noise?
