I went to the psychology of horror seed talk at Exeter Phoenix last night. I thought it was really interesting and touched on a few topics I had some previous knowledge of. As I went alone, I didn't have anyone to debrief with, if you went, I'd love to hear your thoughts on it.
I am a casual pc gamer, playing games like two point, modern day point and clicks e.g. disco Elysium, and old school Lucas arts type games e.g. day of the tentacle, grim Fandango etc.
This is predominantly what I use a laptop for, as well as ms word, saving photographs, and making the big purchases.
My old laptop is about to give up and I'm in need of buying a new one. I don't feel like I need a full scale gaming laptop, I play things like BG3 etc on my Xbox, but I do need something which doesn't sound like it's about to take off into orbit when I do load up a game.
I'd be grateful for recommendations of an all-rounder type laptop with a gaming leaning, budget £600-800 (give or take).
I've been skating for a whole week and had my first fall today. Jesus effing Christ it hurt so much 😂 my butt, my wrist, my shoulder, my pride!!!
I'm glad it's out of the way and not that I'm very confident on my skates right now, but it's really knocked my confidence today, oh well, tomorrow is a new day and we'll go again. 😅
