Hello all,

I need to replace the opening switch of my rear door on my Mazda 5.

Now I already removed all the inside panelling of the rear door.

As far as I can see I need to remove the two inner lights on the rear door first (2)

Then I can remove the plastic strip (1) which contains the switch (3). And then I can replace the switch (3).

But the problem is that I cannot remove the two inner lights. When I remove the one bolt on the inside and pinch the plastic clip there still is absolutely no movement in the inner light unit. How do I remove these? Do I somehow need to remove the black plastic cover on the side?

Anyone got some tips?
