Is it even worth it to invest in India/Indian stocks in 2026?

I don't really have much money on me to invest overseas since the taxes would take away half of it. I've been investing in MFs for over an year. The XIRR is around 1.5% as of yesterday. It was around 8% at the 1year mark.

Seeing the current situation in India, the recession and inflation, is it even worth it to invest in India? It seems like the rupee falling against the dollar will only continue. It's at 96/usd as of currently.

Can't bring myself to study even during exams. Not scared anymore and it's a serious issue!

I just don't bring myself to study even during exams. I've tried making schedules, trying to study a small portion or create deadlines so that if not the whole syllabus I at least cover some part of it even if I don't feel like studying. But it just doesn't seem to work! It's like if I sit to study, the doors of my brain just shut themselves. My eyes see what I'm studying, I can even process, make sense of what I'm studying but I just don't remember it the next moment.

But when I have to attempt the exam the next day, I just wake up, go through the notes of that subject once and boom! I understand everything. I even do well on the exam considering I've only read the notes once, spending a total of like 3-4hours on the whole syllabus. I don't attend classes, if I do, I just use my phone cuz the teachers are just mid. Classes are a total waste of time in my clg they are just strict about attendance but no real study.

But this way of studying won't work for subjects which are humanly impossible to cover just by notes or the notes are just too lengthy. I don't know whats wrong or maybe I perform well in deadlines.

Please help! I need advices on how to bring myself to study. I find it too boring to even focus for 10mins, But I can sit silent in an empty room for hours without a single thought in my mind. Need genuine advices! AMA cuz I might be missing mentioning some of the details that are going on in my mind.

Need Investment Strategy as a College Student

So, I am a 20F college student in my 4th year now. Everything combined I have around 2 Lakh rupees which I made on my own through freelance and working part time.

2 lakh breakdown:

Around 50k invested in 3 MF

30k for day to day use

60k in FD (opened a few days back)

And the rest is sitting in my account which is around 60k.

I don't want the money to sit idle and neither do I want it to go to FD since my parents already have theirs and I want to invest aggressively (no such responsibilities or needs currently).

What should be my investment dynamics for maximum profit? Or should I invest in direct stocks but I don't have knowledge about it. I also want to invest in US stocks, how could I do that, and would that be a good choice with this amount? Please give me some solid investment plans.
