Elevated Summer / Resort Wear
I’m a 41M looking to upgrade my summer and resort wear. I feel okay in the Polo and T-shirt areas, but my bottoms and shoes/sandals are in need of an upgrade.
For pants, I’m looking for something non-technical as I have some but I feel the ‘look’ is over or I’m trying to look young. Cotton, linen/cotton would be preferred. My struggle is that 1) linen pants all seem to be a pull on style this year 2) Linen in the past has always looked too baggy, too transparent, or too cheap. 3) Cotton pants I see are mostly work chino style…. Where can I get some nice pants for summer functions or resort wear that are modern, breathable and not an absolute wrinkled mess?
Additionally, I’m looking for a shoe style to go along with it. I mostly stick with the flip flops now or a pair of ferragamo loafers with no socks (the loafer style is a bit dated), but again I feel that I should upgrade to something. What that is, not sure… could use the help.
