Predictions
This is the last panel of the chapter.
It's a very convenient opportunity to change the vibe of the scene in seconds. Let me explain :
- Dan just figured out that Jae stayed with him the whole time when he was unconscious after the surgery
- but Jae didn't brag about it, he didn't said a word about it
- Dan knows that everyday he got fresh flowers
- but no one but Jae could bring them, because the other people who knew about Dan being in the hospital were visiting like normal visiters
- Dan saw Jae with big red eyes as if he cried for days
- but he said nothing about it
- Dan knows that Jae won the match, so he probably fucked another guy
- but Jae was there when Dan fainted from the stabbing and he was there the whole time between winning the match and Dan woking up from the surgery. Why would he even bother to see someone that is no use to him? Especially now that the contract is finished.
If Jae was as focused as before to win his match, he wouldn't be stuck to Dan as glue, he wouldn't sneak into the hospital room on daily.
My prediction is that Dan will turn back immediately to ask Jae about it, like what's happening? Why are you acting so weird? What's going on inside his head?
And I don't think Dan will even have the opportunity to ask because he will find Jae crying in Dan's old room.
