Sub base help

This project is nothing compared to most on here. But I am needing to prep a pad for a 6x6 resin shed to hold me over until I build a real shed next summer.

I'm using True Grid Pro Lite pavers. Their spec indicates #57 or 3/4 clean angular stone for the sub base. I cannot find it anywhere locally in less than tonnage for purchase. Today I found bought trap rock from Menards. There is no sizing on the bag, but when I got home I saw the receipt states 1.5". Obviously that is twice the recommended spec and won't compact the same

So, the question is, on a small resin shed that is 99.9% static load... am I over thinking this? I'm not going to be driving a car on this or anything. I've seen videos of folks using these pavers on sheds with no sub base at all. Just flat compacted dirt, then pavers with gravel fill.

Also, if anyone has suggestions on where to buy #57 in a bag near KCMO I am all ears. I'll also need 1/2 or 5/8 gravel for the fill layer which is surprisingly hard to find at a big box store in gray color.
