Panic attacks and nervous system dysregulation?? 🥺

Does anyone have any tips on how to regulate the nervous system from “fight or flight” mode and how long would it take? I think my panic attacks came from burnout, pushing myself past my limit. Constant timing in my ears. Over stimulated.

When I’m grounded in nature on my day off, I feel better when I’m surrounded by loved ones I feel safe. But when I drive to work and I’m working all day, the panic and anxiety and breathlessness kick in. I already took days off of work and cut back on my schedule, but I read it can take 3 to 6 months sometimes longer to regulate the nervous system after burnout.

Unfortunately, I work in a hair salon blow dry bar, so I’m booked and busy every 30 minutes with a client in my chair. and we don’t get benefits of taking a leave of absence. I had an emotional breakdown last week at work. I spoke to my boss, she’s very compassionate, but my schedule is fully booked. I just would like to know how to heal so I can get back to normal.

Any advice will be really helpful.

Nervous system dysregulation…. Advice please🙏🏻

Has anyone here healed a burn out, dysregulated nervous system from doing somatic therapies? How long will it take? My body feels stuck in fight or flight mode, on high alert, haven’t slept without waking up every 3 hours. Panic, anxiety. I think I burned myself out from over working myself. Now I just don’t know how to fix it. Are there techniques backed by neuroscience?
