is it really dumb to buy an apartment right now?

Context, 28F, single income 84k, only 25k saved

I’m so sick of paying someone else’s rent and want to get into the market as soon as possible. Feasibly with the 5% deposit scheme and borrowing power I could look at a small apartment or unit 350-450k~
I’m not necessarily concerned about it as an investment more just I want somewhere to live that isn’t paying off someone else’s mortgage, currently renting a two bedroom unit when I feel my money could be better used paying my own mortgage. I’m in Victoria so stamp duty exemption should apply, as this would be my first property and to live in myself. Would also be looking at smaller apartment blocks/units to keep strata fees low. Mostly just looking for general guidance, it really dumb to approach lenders right now with such a little deposit saved? Should I wait longer? Will they even take me seriously?

suspecting ms

27F - have been seeing neurologists following on from a seizure episode - now thought to be convulsive syncope triggered by a very exhausting week. but neurologist symptoms have begun to progress following this (9 months ago). they seem to come in waves, pins and needles, electric shocks, daily headaches, lhermittes sign, vertigo, extreme fatigue, double vision. it will worsen over the course of a few weeks then seemingly subside then come back again worse than before with added things (electric shocks started last september, double vision started in january, vertigo is the newest addition as of march). i’ve been seeing epilepsy neurologists because of the first episode, have also in between been diagnosed with dysautonomia by a cardiologist while looking for a needle in the haystack.
here’s what sticks out to me - I had an MRI in January this year, nothing of note except 1mm hyper intensity in the deep periventricular white matter.
another MRI was done is April this year, which notes:
Occasional supratentorial deep and subcortical white matter punctate T2 hyperintense focus, nonspecific and of doubtful clinical significance. These can be seen in association with chronic migraine. There are areas of abnormally restricted diffusion present. No space occupying lesion. No abnormal areas of intra or extra-axial enhancement. There are areas of cerebral oedema. No abnormal areas of intra extra-axial enhancement.

however the conclusion doesn’t mention the restricted diffusion or edema, just the punctate and then again reiterates the chronic migraine point. I can’t help feeling like there might be something more going on than chronic migraines (which I don’t particularly have, I have headaches and have had probably 3 migraines of note in my life) also considering these punctates seemingly popped up in 90 days (or were missed initially?) but the public neurology seems to just want to push me out the door. GP it’s trying to write it off as pots and chronic fatigue despite the cardiologist saying this doesn’t fit the pattern. I guess I’m just here to ask if anyone has had a similar experience with imagine / are these common findings with MS?
