April 6 is here. Anyone actually get a Foundayo order placed?

If you got an order in, drop a comment with:

- What dose you ended up on (most people starting at 0.8?)

- How long the telehealth consult actually took

- Whether you have a tracking number yet

- What the final price came out to (with or without savings card)

Also curious if anyone tried and ran into issues. BMI cutoffs, telehealth hangups, savings card not working, anything.

The wiki is mostly speculation right now and Id love to start filling it with real experiences from this first wave. The first couple weeks of actual data matter the most for everyone coming in behind us.

What to expect from r/FoundayoUS over the next few weeks

Now that approval is official, here's what's happening and what to expect from both Foundayo and this sub:

Foundayo timeline:

  • Now: LillyDirect is accepting prescriptions
  • April 6: First shipments go out from LillyDirect
  • Mid-April: Expect to see Foundayo at major retail pharmacies (CVS, Walgreens, Walmart, etc.)
  • July 1: Medicare Part D $50/month pricing kicks in

What we're working on for the sub:

  • Building out the wiki with real-world experiences as people start receiving their meds
  • Collecting info on which telehealth providers are fastest and easiest to work with
  • Tracking insurance coverage and prior authorization experiences by carrier
  • Side effect threads organized by dose level
  • Weekly check-in threads once members start their journeys

What you can do right now:

  • Read the wiki if you haven't: https://www.reddit.com/r/FoundayoUS/wiki/index/
  • Share this sub with anyone you know who's interested in Foundayo
  • If you get prescribed this week, come back and tell us about the process
  • If you have experience with any of the listed telehealth providers (Form Health, 9amHealth, knownwell, Ro), share your experience

This sub is brand new and we're building it together. The more people contribute, the more useful it becomes for everyone. Let's go.

Here's the quick rundown:

  • Approved for: Adults with obesity, or overweight with at least one weight-related condition, alongside diet and exercise
  • Dosing: Starts at 0.8 mg daily, titrates up over time to a max of 17.2 mg
  • LillyDirect: Accepting prescriptions now. Shipping starts April 6.
  • Retail pharmacies: Broad availability expected shortly after April 6
  • Pricing: Self-pay starts at $149/month. Commercial insurance with savings card as low as $25/month. Medicare Part D at $50/month starting July 1.

Official announcement from Eli Lilly

This is a massive moment for the GLP-1 space. An effective oral option with no meal timing restrictions changes the game for a lot of people.
