Small plates/good drinks?

The preteens have decided they're too cool for our weekly grocery trip this Saturday (they are, but I don't like that they know it).

I want to sneak in a quick date. 1-2 drinks and some solid apps. Where on the west side (Tanasbourne/Bethany) should we stop off at?

Best Korean BBQ?

Huge influx of KBBQ in the last few years around here. So, who has the best KBBQ (factoring price as well). You can include surrounding areas (Hillsboro, Tigard, Lake Oswego) but maybe on this side of the river?

My default is Gen BBQ but certainly not the best.

Mexican Food Catering Recommendations

I am in need for catering recommendations for an event of 130+ people on 5/17. We aren't irresponsible about booking, but it looks like we are being ghosted by the caterer we have been talking with.

The event is a fundraising benefit auction dinner for a trip to Mexico to build homes for families in need.

The preference is for a taco bar, that can be delivered buffet style with two meat options and one vegetarian. Beans and rice would be great as well.

Local businesses preferred, but not a strict requirement.

Any positive recommendations you all can make?

Any of y’all had the fast food restaurant Cookout before? Most are located in the Carolina’s.

Me and my partner just moved here from North Carolina and she loved those “icey”milkshakes. It’s her birthday soon and I want to try to find something similar for her in or around Beaverton.

May be a long shot but can anyone help me?

My partner has been craving fried seafood on par with Skippers(RIP). Any suggestions for us to try?

Thank you in advance!

I just tried Habit Burger the other day and I thought it was... good, but not great. Definitely not up to the hype, but almost like a better Burger King.

I've realized Beaverton, and PDX as a whole, is turning into a burger mecca. In-N-Out just opened in Vancouver and the one in Hillsboro is going to open in a few weeks. It doesn't look like any movement has been made on the location opening on Highway 10 near Chick-Fil-A and Target. Shake Shack is now here. Long time local staple Burgerville. Habit. Five Guys. Little Big Burger. Super Deluxe. Killer Burger. Even local places like Fireside Grill, Canyon Grill and Stockpot have great burgers too.

This area does not lack in burgers, that's for sure.

My husband's birthday is next week, and instead of a regular cake, he says he would like cupcakes so he can share with friends at his kickball game. I'd like to get him something nicer than grocery store cupcakes, anyone have a favorite in the area?
