Rental Property Damage due to New Optimum Service Install

I own a home which I currently rent out. My tenants signed up for Optimum, and when the crew came out to run/bury the fiber, they cut through my in-ground sprinkler system.

Not a big deal, but we feel Optimum should reimburse us for the repair cost. However, any calls to customer service go through an automated system that requests an account number (as the owners, we obviously don't have an account number), and when we've managed to get hold of a live person, they sound very confused and not sure where to direct us.

Is there a non-account-specific number or service desk we could call that might be able to direct us to someone who could help?

Update: Checked the wiki here, and an email to Vinny.Guerrera@alticeusa.com (Corporate Complaint Director) seemed to gain some traction. At least I've got people following up with me, which is progress.

USAA Underwriter denied me an Umbrella Policy due to a no-fault accident 4 years ago.

I've been thinking about getting an umbrella policy for a few years (just figured better safe than sorry), and I finally called today to get it started, but USAA's underwriter denied issuing a policy because a high schooler rear-ended me almost 5 years ago. I have zero tickets or at-fault accidents.

It's just crazy to me that a single, no-fault accident from almost 5 years ago makes me ineligible for a USAA umbrella policy now. She said it should drop off this fall, so I may try again then, but honestly, I'm just disappointed and considering whether I need to look at other providers.

We have a 6-year-old female Australian Shepherd with Progressive Retinal Atrophy, so she’s effectively blind. We also have a 3-year-old male Aussie with normal vision. The issue is that the female becomes extremely reactive toward the male during mealtimes.

When we feed them, the male eats immediately. The female, however, will sit near her food and growl - even when the male isn’t close to her. We’ve tried feeding her in a kennel and in a separate room, but she often refuses to eat in those situations. It almost seems like she wants the attention or interaction.

She may eat a little, but then she’ll lie next to her food and continue growling. If she doesn’t eat after a few minutes, we pick the food up to prevent the male from coming over and eating it. When she later shows signs of being hungry, we put the food back down - but the same cycle repeats. Sometimes it takes her up to two hours to finish a meal.

We’re getting worn out managing this every day and are looking for advice on how to fix or improve the situation.
