My Samhain "turnip" is all decked out for spring!

So for the past few years I have been carving turnips for Samhain and letting them dry out afterwards. I've got a small collection going at this point. Last year I couldn't find them for sale, so my "turnips" were actually potatoes. The 3 red potatoes dried out really well, but the russet is looking ready for spring! I normally toss sprouted potatoes, but I feel like I just *have* to plant this guy for Bealtaine. Like, how could I not? Additionally I would not even have guessed that this was possible??

Anyway, this is my first post here (hi everyone!) and I was so amused I had to share!
