Hello I'm going to talk about how young French people see the Us (No hate, be respectful)
First, we see your country as very violent, with very high levels of insecurity in the big cities. We also think that in your country, a segment of the population is resistant and refuses to accept new ideas and facts, such as climate change or other issues. When we were little, we saw the USA through the eyes of children; we were amazed and saw the American dream on our TVs. But for us, the United States today looks more like hell on earth. Regarding guns, as a French person, I don't really understand how just about anyone can get their hands on a gun. Tell me if I'm wrong, but at the time this amendment was adopted,before weapons were much less dangerous than today, and most were incapable of firing as many times in succession as those of today. Today, weapons are lethal and easy to use, so in my opinion, it should be adapted to our times. Regarding politics, we get the impression that you are even more fragmented than we are, that politics is a taboo subject, and that you are incapable of developing friendly relationships with someone who doesn't share your opinions. We also get the impression that your media, like some in our country, are looking for sensationalism rather than information. Regarding your government, we struggle to understand why you are so passive. Your president is destroying your country internationally with his disgusting statements, and you are not reacting. If the same thing had happened in our country, he would have been impeached immediately. Right now, we're finding it hard to see the US as an ally, but rather as an enemy. I'm not saying this to be mean or angry; I'm just saying it because I'd like to hear your perspective, so please respond respectfully
