Hey,

I'm 50 and I've had a gas grill for like… forever. Always worked fine, but I've been seeing kamados everywhere lately and I'm kinda hooked on the idea. The flavor, the slow cooking, the pizza thing, all of it.

I'd rather go with a French brand if I can. A buddy of mine mentioned COEO the other day, said it's a French company that makes kamados, but I don't know much about them tbh. Anyone here owns one or has tried one?

And more broadly, what's the best French kamado out there right now in your opinion? Curious to hear what people think before I drop the cash on it.

Hey all,

35, finally got the backyard sorted, and I want to start doing proper brisket, the real 12h low & slow stuff for when the boys come over.

A mate who's deep into BBQ ranked them for me, best to worst : COEO Quatro L, Kamado Joe Classic III, Big Green Egg XL, Primo Oval. Mostly care about temp stability through the night and fitting a full packer.

Would you go with that order? Any sleeper picks I should look at?
