Diagnosed with HSIL (HPV+ not 14/16)
I have a colp scheduled for may 28th.

I was reading some threads where people got referred straight to LEEP after their pap.

I understand majority of HSIL is CIN2/3 so my next step would be LEEP anyway. I saw someone mention their pap showed CIN3 and they went to LEEP. I didn’t think a pap could tell you that info and that’s the point of the Colposcopy?

I have a high deductible and worried a bit about the cost of everything so if anyone can tell me their experience and why they skipped the colposcopy, was it your choice or the doctors?

Im not nervous about the procedures and more worried about cost and results ofc.
