What paint is best?
Hello! First time posting here, although I’ve been a longtime fan of customs.
I recently purchased and received a Yolopark Dinobot figure. It’s a beautiful figure, easily my most prized possession, but it’s not fully show accurate. I’m planning on repainting it to better reflect his appearance in Beast Wars, but I’m not sure what types of paints to use.
Would anyone know the best paint for this kind of figure? I want to make sure it stays and the colors are the correct colors, but I don’t want to accidentally use anything that could damage the plastic or make it weaker. The only paints I have are some acrylics from Hobby Lobby, but I’ve never tried those on a figure before, so I don’t intend on using them currently.
Any advice for paints (and prep!) is VERY much appreciated!!! Really hoping this repaint turns out well, Dinobot’s my favorite character in the whole franchise and I’m beyond hyped to finally have a figure of him that WON’T cost me an arm and a leg!
