Planning a wedding for October 2026 and we’re really interested in going the food truck route instead of traditional catering. We love the idea of having 3-4 different trucks with a mix of cuisines so guests have options (think tacos, BBQ, maybe something fun like pizza or Asian fusion).
We’re expecting around 130 guests and want the experience to be smooth, efficient, and actually filling (not just snack portions).
For anyone who’s done this or attended a wedding with food trucks in Austin:
-Which food trucks would you recommend?
-How many trucks did you have vs. guest count?
-Any logistical issues we should think about (lines, timing, setup, etc.)?
-Rough pricing per truck or per guest?
We’re aiming for good quality food but also want to make sure it runs seamlessly on the day of. Any advice, tips, or vendor recs would be super appreciated!
