Need suggestions for books to gift my beloved aunt who is about to begin cancer treatment.

This is my family’s first time dealing with cancer so I come to you for advice because my favorite books are sagas that include character death and I’m hesitant to gift them to her even though her prognosis is good. Many years ago, after I had suffered a late term stillbirth she heard that in my deep grief I couldn’t sleep and was reading to take my mind off of things. She showed up on my doorstep with a big bag of book. Those books were a lifeline for me. I’d like to return the favor.

A little bit about her: She’s in her retirement era - vacays with her girlfriends and being the best grandma on the planet. She never forgets anyone’s birthday. She’s a widow and we are all still grieving the loss of my uncle. She’ll beat you at cards. Her house is decorated for every occasion and well. If you see her without lipstick, you’re in her inner circle. She’s incredibly intelligent and witty. She enjoys a good margarita, good conversation and a good laugh.
