Hi! question here: suppliers are always asking me my order quantity but It feels like a chicken and egg problem - 1) I can't start putting my idea out there to collect pre orders or demand because I dont even know if suppliers can produce my design let alone a prototype (that i can feature in content or mockups) .... and so 2) i cannot confidently validate if this is a product / design people will pay for as proof.

Please bring me back to the basics.. for context, this is a home improvement product that I am trying to redesign as a home decor piece too ... and unlike food / beauty... it doesnt seem to belong on social media the way many trendy CPG brands have managed. when people seek home improvement, amazon seems the go-to (and yet amazon does not seem possible at this stage due to the costs).
