What is Print Day in May?
>Print Day in May is celebrated on the first Saturday in May, every year. The event celebrates the art and community of printmaking. Join us as tens of thousands of printmakers open their studios to friends, use their cars as presses, make handprints in the sand, and otherwise celebrate the joy of printmaking! What began in 2007 as a small local event near Monterey Bay in California has become a worldwide event, coordinated by our small team of Print Day in May volunteers.
Everyone is still welcome to post separately, but we welcome and encourage sharing what you're doing for Print Day in May here as well!
We typically limit social media posts to the monthly thread, but given the nature of this event you may also link within this thread your Print Day in May activities across other social media and sites.
