Anyone in corporate that has a job that doesn’t require PowerPoint? I am so over decks - making them, meeting on them and redoing them 10x. Does anyone honestly get useful information out of a deck? I do sometimes if it’s information I need which could just as easily be put in a word doc. I feel like the only people who think they are “useful” are senior leaders who fair enough might need some bullets and images to get the story, but it is the most exhausting soul destroying process, in terms of making one. As I’m actively looking for my next role I’d be curious if anyone has a role that they rarely use PowerPoint for.
