Hi! I'm interested in visiting the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival. Can someone who has visited tell me a bit about the films they show? Is it very political like the Berlinale? And how hard is it to get tickets last minute? I have already looked at accommodations and almost everything is booked in my price range except for one hotel. In the reviews it says that it is a soviet style hotel with a lot of Russian guests. If I book this hotel how bad will it be? Has anyone here been at Hotel Kolonáda? Is it really as bad as the reviews say? Thanks for your advice! 🙏
