Hi,

My family and I are planning to visit our family in Bolivia later this year. This will be our first time going and my mother's first time back in almost 40 years. One side of the family is from a small town off of Lake Titicaca about 3.5 hours north of La Paz and the other side of the family is from another small town about 45 minutes away from the city of Cochabamba. We also have family in Santa Cruz. We're hoping to visit both sides of the family; however, we'll only be there for 13 days, including travels days. I'm just not sure if it's possible to hit up everything we want to see and visit with family.

Below is a small itinerary that I put together. Does it seem feasible to squeeze everything in in such a short window? I'm most concerned about the trip from La Paz to Lake Titicaca. There just doesn't seem to be convenient way to get there or many options as far as lodging goes. Our family may be willing to let us stay with them, but I also don't want to put anyone out, especially since there will be four of us going on this trip.

Is there anything we should considering cutting from our trip? Or are there any places that we should instead consider going? As much as we would like to do the excursions, especially Tiwanaku, visiting our family is our number one priority. Any advice or feedback would be so, so much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Day 1 - Arrive in Santa Cruz in the late evening

Days 2-3 - Visit family, day trip to Samaipata

Days 4-8 - Travel to Cochabamba, visit family, go to Parque Nacional Toro Toro

Days 9-12 - Travel to La Paz, visit family, go to Valle de Luna, Tiwanaku

Day 13 - Travel home
