My neutered cat has always been large. Is this a problem?
Edit: Thanks guys, I realized that I was letting other people get to my head. He’s healthy, just a big tomcat body type.
He’s always been a big boy since I got him from the shelter in 2023(he was two, recently neutered), fluctuating between 14-16 lbs. The vet says he’s healthy, just big boned and muscly. Everyone around me keeps telling me he’s too fat and I’m in denial. He gets a lot of exercise and actually has a ton of energy and passes the rib test. And his double chin is naturally formed by previous tomcat cheeks that drooped down to his chin. …but he’s still pretty big, and I can’t get him to lose weight, and I get a ton of crap from people about it. What do you guys think?
