Has anyone else had any issues applying seat coupons on a flight originating from Europe? I have been given two status for a day coupons and have applied them to the travel days both going out and coming back. In the past I have been able to use the MCE seat coupons and choose an MCE seat on both flights. For some reason I am not able to use the coupons, it just shows me the pay or miles options. I called AA and the agent was able to pick the seat on the flight to LHR, but when she went to pick the seat on the return flight it would not allow her to apply the coupon. And she could not give me a reason as to why this is happening. I have done this in the past with no issues. And just to confirm, this is not a basic economy ticket either.
