Hello, I've been on sertraline for 6 years now. The past year or so it's had dwindling efficacy, and my psych wanted to start me on a tetracyclic anti instead (staying on my Wellbutrin). Today is day 4 of my lowered dose, and I know some withdrawal symptoms are to be expected, but I'm really worried about next week. I was on 100mg, and he had me go down to 50mg. After 7 days I'll stop sertraline entirely. Is this a normal taper period? I'd imagine going from 50 to 0 is a lot harder than 100 to 50. Am I just overreacting, or is it worth bringing up to my psychiatrist? I'm titrating onto my mirtazapine at the same time, but it's a different class so it won't act as a replacement AFAIK. Anyone else have experience with this and can provide insight? Thanks a bunch.
Edit: Contacted my psych and got a 7 day script for 25mg. Thanks a bunch.
