I came home from school and found these underneath my crab. What is it? And does this indicate a problem with my crab?

Edit: My main question here is about the amount. I assumed it was his waste, but he’s never done this much before, and he usually does it in water. This all happened within one afternoon.

I only have one crab (and don’t plan on getting more because he’s very aggressive with other crabs in the past) but I’m worried my tank is still too small. If it is, how big of a tank should I get?

Honestly not sure if he’s actually trying to escape or if he just likes it there but I think it’s so cute when he does this lol
