On Thursday afternoon I was walking and suddenly felt a drop or a pop in my lower left abdomen area. Extreme pain immediately followed this and I could barely walk. The pain was just in the general lower abdomen area. I decided to sit it out until it became too much (30 minutes later) and I walked home. By the time I arrived home I couldn't walk due to the pain. Bending over made it much worse so I laid down with a hot water bottle hoping it would get better. After a few hours I got up to pee and I was in so much pain I couldn't stand upright and the pain had reached the top of my left leg for some reason. I had to basically get carried to the bathroom. For the next few hours I couldn't concentrate on anything because I was in so much pain in my pelvic area (mainly left side). Later at 1am I used all of my strength to go to the kitchen and I couldn't see anything and my tongue felt fuzzy before I collapsed onto the floor. I was about to pass out but I could feel it coming on. I then felt like I was going to be sick and fell asleep with a sink basin in case I woke up in the night.
The next morning I still felt some of the pain but it only impacted my daily activities a little. I phoned the doctors hoping for an appointment and they put me on call with the triage nurse and she insisted that it was a uti?? Which puzzled me abit as it didn't sound like one nor have I ever had one before. She had me send a urine sample and I never got an appointment. The weekend went by and without my results I had uti pills sent to my house from the pharmacy? I googled what they were for and I've never experienced any of the symptoms?
Has anyone else had a similar experience or has any advice for me? I don't have any medical issues to my knowledge but im a young woman and this happened between my ovulation and the beginning of my period which was supposed to start yesterday but hasn't happened yet which worries me even more.
