Based on a ttrpg I played. The blood mage, Anthea, enters the formal ball hosted by her enemies, ready to strike them down by force or wit.

Double folded end on "string". This is what I've managed to do. It's ugly, it was tedious to do, and has a tendency to mess up the thread.

I've set the foot tension as low as it goes but as shown on picture 3 it's still too hard and "blocks" the fabric from being moved. The ones I've made I've done with the foot up but that causes a whole other line of issues.

I have to sew 52 ends on these "strings", so far I've done 10 and it's taken me more than an hour and the spool keeps getting messed up.

Anyone got some advice on what to do?
