Why does Nascar not promote qualifying? Unlike almost every other motorsport.

Even endurance championships like WEC and IMSA have extended coverage for qualifying. But for Nascar, the only reason I know that qualifying even happened is from the rundown of the grid during the race broadcast.

There is zero content about qualifying on YouTube. But qualifying is a big deal for road courses and for tracks where it’s hard to pass. And it creates story lines by who is quick and who isn’t. So I don’t really understand why Nascar decides to not show any of it.

Big disclaimer: I’m watching from Europe, so I don’t know if my experience is accurate compared to watching from America. I follow Nascar through YouTube, this subreddit, and a local broadcaster that shows all the races live with local commentary,
