I have a metal roof on my cottage that I prefer not to drill through. Slope could be either 4:12 or 12:12 depending on which section of roof I use.

Firstly, are magnetic mounts viable in these scenarios? Are the magnets strong enough to keep the mount and panel in place?

Secondly, if so which work best and are most reliable based on your experience? Are there any to outright avoid?

I'm looking at old Town vs pelican for either paddle or peddle kayak.

Any advice on which to choose? I've never had a fishing kayak or a peddle kayak. I do have a sit in kayak but it's too unstable for comfortable fishing.
