Should I sell my Gen Tissot PRX 80 to fund an APSF 15510 and a DDF 5711?

I’m currently facing a bit of a collection dilemma and would love some input from people who have been in the game for a while.

Currently, my only Gen is the Tissot PRX Powermatic 80. I love the 70s integrated bracelet vibe, it’s reliable, has a great power reserve, and obviously, it’s a gen „Swiss“ watch.

However, I’ve been lurking here for a while and the super clones are calling my name. I’m seriously considering selling the PRX (which would probably fetch me around $400-$500) and coming out of pocket a bit more to pick up two heavy hitters:

  1. APSF 15510 (Audemars Piguet Royal Oak)
  2. DDF 5711 (Patek Philippe Nautilus)

I know I’m basically trading genuine entry-level horology for high-tier reps pieces, which is a massive jump in terms of what I'm projecting on the wrist.

Movement Reliability: How are the clone movements holding up in the APSF 15510 (the 4302 clone) and the DDF 5711 (the 330 clone) compared to a ETA like the Powermatic 80?

Has anyone here sold their entry-level gens (Seiko, Tissot, Hamilton) to go full rep? Did you regret giving up the peace of mind of a gen, or did the aesthetic of the high-tier reps make it worth it?

Any advice, wrist shots, or reality checks are appreciated

Read some boomer book on risk management over the weekend, so I decided to finally play it safe and diversify.

Here are my strict new portfolio rules:

• 100% of port into $AMZN.

My broker keeps sending me weird emails about "margin calls" and "basic math," but I'm pretty sure Robinhood is just glitching again.

You guys think my 100% portfolio weighting will beat the S&P?

If this goes tits up, my wife's boyfriend said he'll at least buy me a 4-for-4 at Wendy's. See you on the moon or behind the dumpster.
