Planning my first outdoor kitchen and I’m stuck.
The labor quotes I’m getting for a permanent custom setup (Pic 2) are freaking me out. Even for a frame with stone veneer, the install costs more than the appliances!
I started looking at these modern modular units (Pic 1) and they look so much cooler. That lid is a total game changer for me—it basically feels like I’m getting a free pergola/cover for the grill area. I’m currently shopping around online to compare prices, but I’m still hesitating.
One part of me loves the modern vibe and the easy install, but the other part is worried it won't hold up like a fixed build. Is modular a smart move to avoid the labor headache, or am I gonna regret not going with a permanent setup?
Budget is definitely a factor. First-timer here, would love some real advice!
