My doctor offered me medicine that would trigger a med board. I had planned on retiring at 20 years and am 12 months from that goal (I have 19 years active duty). Do I decline the medicine and ensure I get my 20 year retirement and pension + VA disability or do I accept the medicine and trigger a med board in six months? Is this a matter of timing when I take the new medicine? Thanks
