did i completely misread a shy guy’s interest or is he just awkward over text?
texted this aqua guy from my class who i genuinely thought liked me but was too shy to do anything about it 😭
he literally cannot hold eye contact with me, always seems nervous around me, his friends act weird whenever i’m nearby and have hinted stuff before, and there’s just been that tension for months where it feels obvious something is there but nobody says anything.
so i finally texted him after overthinking it forever. i just said hi and told him i’d wanted to talk to him for a while but never found the moment. he took around 2-3 hours to reply and then said “aaah you should’ve come up to me anytime haha”
but then didn’t really continue the conversation after that …
now i genuinely can’t tell if this is just an extremely shy guy being awkward because i actually made the first move
how do i respond to his reply?
