I have used Azuracast with linode in the past, however this is the first time I have seen the following required options which are: limited sudo user to be created for the Linode: *No Capital Letters or Special Characters* (required) and Email address (for the Let's Encrypt SSL certificate) (required) and Administrator Email Address (required) not to mention advanced features like Disable root access over SSH?
Either way I set up name as the super user and I use name@customdomain.com, I set the root password (which I believe was the password for logging into the station), I then click create and wait for the light to turn green, then when I go to the IP address of the instance I am asked to log in which I use name@customdomain.com and Root password yet I get the notification that my credentials cannot be verified.
What step am I missing? Is it now mandatory to have a SSL Certificate before I log in? would having a SSL Certificate defeat the purpose of trying to use my GoDaddy custom url? I have been at this for a few days and I am starting to think this is a waste of time and I just need to delete my Linode account all together.
