Made it to Onederland today! 58lbs down

Hit a goal today that simply would not have been possible without the magic of GLP1's.

Initial weight 258lbs on 14th July 2025. Started on Mounjaro (tirz) for the first 2 months at 2.5mg, then 5mg dose pw. Then a price increase lead me straight into sourcing retratrutide and ive been on that since. Started low and titrated up to where I am now taking 6mg per week split in 2 3mg doses Mon/Thurs. Today for the first time I tipped the scale and the digit started with a 1!

The inital 40lbs fell off with very modest changes to lifestyle, eating better and moving a bit more.

I then had a couple month period where I wasnt taking any GLP1. Got a bad flu around Christmas, got married and went on honeymoon for a month around SE Asia. I wanted to enjoy myself at this time with no strings attached so wasnt really concerned with I was eating or drinking and put about 15/20lbs back on. Aside from that my progress wouldve been much faster.

Since mid March Ive got really dialed in. My diet is super clean, I've joined a gym, Im lifting 4/5 times a week and Im playing 6/7 hrs of Padel per week which has been great for cardio.

Im 33, 6"2 and for my entire adult life I have been Overweight/Obese. For the first time ever I am approaching a weight that would give me a 'normal' BMI and I'm healthier than I've ever been. Its something that simply wouldnt have been possible without the wonderful impact of the beautiful GLP1's / Reta.

My goal moving forward isnt to lose a ton more weight (maybe 10lbs) but to improve body composition and add muscle. To aide this, in the last week I have added 2 new peptides MOTS-C and CJC/IPA into my stack and im excited to see where I can take my journey.

I've loved looking at peoples progress photos on this sub for inspiration, this medication changes lives and I hope this post may encourage any others starting out or working hard on their journeys!
