I have a house built in the 60s in Buffalo Ny. I want to repaint a room but while I’m redoing it I’m thinking I should probably tear down the drywall on two exterior facing walls and have it re-insulated. I am also unsure what might be going on behind the drywall- old moisture damage in wood around windows?

I do not know what professionals I need to get this accomplished. Who would be able to tear down the drywall and fix any issues that arise in the wall?

Once that’s done I know to get an insulation company and drywalling company, just not sure who would do the first step(s).
