I know about RICA, and I’d be totally willing to go through it, although I heard for someone who has been a long time Christian and has learned a lot about Catholicism already, they might not deem it necessary. But either way is fine with me.
So does the church offer one on one meetings or something like that to talk to someone to guide you through it? Would I just show up first and *then* find the person I need to talk to? This 6 month process has mostly just been all inside my own mind (and soul of course), and I think it would be really helpful to talk about it to someone in person, even if only briefly, and to really speak out loud, to hear it coming from my mouth, and to finally go to a church in person to make this actually happen.
I feel…I’d say 95% ready and confident, but I think that other 5% might just be faith and commitment. My intellect is certainly there and my heart feels there.
