I thought I’d start a thread as we’re just getting into this whole process and I know I’ll probably have a million questions along the way.
My wife is 33, I’m 36, and I’ll be the one carrying. We’re planning to use my eggs.
At the moment we’re kind of in between NHS and private:

I’ve done my day 21 progesterone test and it came back 41.2, so looks like I am ovulating which was a bit of a relief😅
we’ve also booked a private appointment with Kind IVF for 5 June
I went to one of their sessions and got the initial testing for £265(discounted) which seemed decent
We’re now trying to figure out whether to try IUI first or just go straight to IVF, especially with the NHS wait in the background.
If anyone’s been in a similar situation, what did you do? And how long did your referral actually take?
I’ll keep updating this as we go because I feel like I’m learning something new every day 😅
