When I tried to get a minimum of 100g protein per day I would get super constipated as I already have a sluggish bowel. I think my body just can’t process that much. I do eat at least 20-30 grams fiber. Now that I’m getting closer to 80g protein and lots of plant foods I’m doing better with regularity. I’m overweight and higher carb is not great for me either. I get lots of cravings and binge. I’m at a loss on how to approach weight loss. It doesn’t make sense for me to take mirilax just to eat high protein either.
