Hi all!

Me and my bf are planning to go to Italy for my birthday this July. 2 days in Florence and 5 days in the Chianti region. Travel in Florence is not a problem for us but travel in the countryside is a bit of an issue since neither of us can drive.

I was looking online and found a lot of private drivers but they all provide a “tour” service. We have already planned our itinerary (wineries, restaurants, towns/villages) so we don’t want a private driver that provides the itinerary. I’m struggling to find any that do an on-call service. Does anyone know any contacts/websites for any on-call private drivers or taxi services; also would hiring a private driver for our 5 days be more cost effective or using a taxi service?
