I have an almost 5 year old and we recently moved to a new state. I thought we could start geocaching in our local area and then expand to larger locations, parks and hikes as the summer gets going. As we are just getting started and I'm looking into the geocaching app and spots around us, I thought I might reach out and see if anyone had simple pointers for us beginners.

My son loves treasure hunts and finding fun things, so I want to keep this fun and exciting for him and maybe something we can continue doing together for a long time.
