Hello, I’ve wanted to start a handyman business for a while now. I help all my friends, family, landlord. I can repair, install, refurbish just about anything. Skilled in most trades.

Anyways, California has the max $500 rule. How this hasn’t adjusted with inflation is beyond me.

Is it possible to legally start a handyman business in this state? And when I say possible, I mean, to also be capable of doing jobs that are over $500 including parts.
