I think this sub will actually appreciate this story since you guys are exactly the kind of people I built this for.

A little context: I run a window cleaning business and I do most of my customer acquisition through door to door sales. I hired a few sales reps off Indeed and was looking for a way to assign territories, track leads, and manage my workers all in one app. I tried every existing option in this space and honestly all of them either looked like they hadn't been updated since 2018 or cost a ridiculous amount per seat. My biggest competitor in window cleaning specifically has an app that does maybe 60% of what I needed and they're somehow making millions a month. So I figured if their app is making that kind of money while being subpar, there's clearly demand and I could just build something better myself.

It's called RepGrid and it just went live on the App Store. The main feature that I'm honestly the most proud of is that when you draw a territory on the map, the app automatically pulls every single house and address inside that polygon. So your reps don't have to manually add a single house, which used to be the most time-wasting part of D2D apps for me. You assign territories to specific reps, they only see their houses, they update statuses on the fly, and the admin sees everything live on a dashboard with revenue tracking and leaderboards.

It has a Solo plan for $20/mo for one-man shops, a Founder plan at $49/mo for a small team, and a Commander plan at $125/mo for bigger teams. There's also a free tier where you get 1 territory forever with full functionality, no card required ever. So if you're a solo guy that just wants to organize your route, you can use it free forever.

I think the sweaty startup crowd is honestly the perfect fit for this app because most of you are exactly who I built it for. Lawn care, pressure washing, window cleaning, pest control, anything where you knock doors or run routes.

App: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/repgrid/id6764744345

The website ( repgrid.app ) will be live sometime today.

I would really appreciate any feedback. What features would actually make this a no-brainer for your business? Anything that's missing? Let me know what you think and feel free to roast it, that's what I want.

Genuine question because I built an app and I'm trying to figure out if it actually solves a real problem for pest. I run a service business that does some D2D and I built an app for my own crew. It's called RepGrid and just launched on the App Store. Pest keeps coming up as one of the best fits but I want to hear directly from you guys before I assume anything.

The stuff I'm honestly trying to figure out is, are you using something like FieldRoutes, ServSuite, or PestPac, or just paper and spreadsheets? What do you actually hate about your current tool? And if you're a tech, is there anything you wish your app did that it doesn't?

For context the app does territory mapping with auto-populated houses (no manual address entry), geofenced job timers, lead status pipeline, recurring customer tracking, team chat, live revenue dashboards, and a Google Sheets export to your own Drive. Solo plan is $20/mo and there's a free tier with 1 territory forever.

If anyone wants free access in exchange for real feedback DM me and I'll send a code. I'm way more interested in feedback than conversions right now.

App: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/repgrid/id6764744345

Working on the website (repgrid.app) and it'll be live tomorrow.

Let me know what you guys think, would really appreciate it.

I built an app called RepGrid for my own service business since I do door to door for customer acquisition and the existing apps in this space were all either outdated or way overpriced. It just launched on the App Store. Solar is honestly the biggest D2D niche out there so I figured this sub would be a really good place to get feedback from actual owners.

The app does territory management with auto-populated houses (you draw a polygon on the map and every house inside is added automatically, no manual entry), lead status tracking with notes per house, geofenced job timers, a live admin dashboard with revenue charts and leaderboards, built-in team chat with confirm/decline cards for territory assignments, and it all works offline. Pricing is $20/mo for solo, $49/mo for a team of 4, $125/mo for up to 10 reps. There's also a free tier where you get 1 territory forever with full functionality, no credit card required.

I'm not really trying to push it hard right now, I'm mainly trying to find out what features actual solar owners would want that I haven't built yet. If anyone wants free access in exchange for some real feedback, DM me and I'll send a code that gets you full access for free.

Working on the website (repgrid.app) and it goes live tomorrow. The app itself is fully ready though.

Let me know what you guys currently use and what you hate about it, that would honestly help me a lot more than just upvotes.

I run a window cleaning business and I do most of my customer acquisition through door to door, so I hired a few sales reps off Indeed a while back and started looking for a way to assign territories, track all the doors, and keep everything organized in one app. Every existing app I tried was either super outdated, looked like it hadn't been updated since 2018, or was way too expensive for what it actually did, so I figured I'd just build my own.

The app is called RepGrid and it's live on the App Store now. The biggest thing that makes it different from anything else out there is that when you draw a territory on the map, it automatically populates every single house and address inside that polygon for you. So your reps don't have to manually type in addresses one at a time, which is honestly the biggest time waste of every other D2D app I've ever used. It also has a full lead status pipeline (Not Home, Come Back, Booked, Sold, Not Interested, etc.), notes per house, geofenced job timers for the reps, a live admin dashboard with revenue tracking, leaderboards, and built-in team chat that replaces the SMS group thread. It also works fully offline and syncs the moment you have signal again, which honestly matters more than people give it credit for since cell coverage in the back of a neighborhood is usually pretty bad.

I think solar guys are probably the perfect target for this since the niche is huge and most of you guys live and breathe D2D. My logic behind posting here is that I want to get feedback from people that actually do this for a living, since I want to make sure I'm not missing anything specific to your industry. So if anyone wants to test it for free in exchange for some honest feedback, just DM me and I'll send you a code that gets you full access for a while.

App is here: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/repgrid/id6764744345

I'm finishing up the website (repgrid.app) tonight and tomorrow so it's not live yet but it'll be up tomorrow. The app itself works fine without it though.

Let me know what you guys think, would really appreciate it.

I've been working on my app for over a month, and I finally feel that it is a full, finished product, ready to release to the app store. However, I still wanted to share it with everyone so I could get some feedback before I published. (Skip to TL;DR at the bottom if you don't want to read it all)

I started building this app a little before this course was released. I'm getting into window cleaning as a business (Also created a website for that business with replit; https://clearedge-usa.com/ ), and I've been using the door to door approach to get customers. I hired a few sales reps on indeed and I was looking for a good way to assign territories to sales reps, track all the doors knocked, and have the sales get booked directly into my calendar, and sent straight to my workers as well.

I did some searching for an app that could do all of this for me, but every app that already existed fell short of what I really looked for in an app like this, looked outdated, and was very expensive. I saw this and immediately thought, I would just build my own app. With my competitors with apps that were subpar to my expectations already making $3 Million+ per month, I knew I had to get into this. (Yes per MONTH, and the app only had 1k reviews).

I started building and the feature that separates my app the most from any other app is that it automatically identifies every single house and address in the territory you select. This means that, unlike other apps, salesmen don't have to worry about adding each and every house to the map, as well as the addresses. This eliminates a loss of valuable time for the salesmen, as writing out an address and adding a house at every door could take an entire minute per house.

The app also has a unique feature where you don't just add your sales reps, you add your workers too. The workers immediately receive a notification that they have been assigned a job at X date and time. They can click on the job through the app and it immediately takes them to the job site. It allows them to clock in and out, so you can manage the amount of time they have worked directly through the app and you know how much to pay. It also rates your workers efficiency level, which is calculated by Revenue generated per hour worked.

The app is very feature heavy and it has everything that I needed in this app. Even if this app weren't to be successful (which I would really doubt), I still have a product that I can always use for free from now on. I would have spent $800 either way over time if I had chosen to use someone else's app, so I'm glad I made my own.

My app is available to test on TestFlight, and I would EXTREMELY appreciate any feedback, as that's mainly why I'm posting this here. The app works for free on TestFlight with the promo code "TESTER" entered in the settings page.

You can test the app here: https://testflight.apple.com/v1/app/6761319822?build=208341614

I also created app previews which I posted below so you guys can get an idea of what the app would look like on the app store. Let me know what you think of the previews as well.

TL;DR: I built a door-to-door sales/territory management app for my window cleaning business after realizing existing apps were outdated, expensive, and missing key features. My app automatically detects every house/address in a selected territory, tracks doors knocked, manages sales reps and workers, sends job notifications, handles clock-in/clock-out, and tracks worker efficiency. It has 3 pricing plans, a free trial, and is currently free to test on TestFlight with promo code TESTER. I’d really appreciate feedback before I publish it to the App Store.
