The Narrative is Disgusting
Hearing the broadcasters and the media framing this as “Wemby’s redemption” or “Wemby’s response” is really weird and gross.
Reggie Miller has said “sometimes violence is necessary” TWICE this game.
Like playing physical or annoying is one thing. But being cherished or “vindicated” for purposefully doing things that could result in EMTs being called in the court…this just makes me feel sad about basketball honestly.
