Just a quick fix. If anyone is facing this issue, go to your computer settings - apps - installed apps - Call of duty - click on the 3 dots - advanced options - repair. Once you’ve done that launch your game and it won’t crash anymore.

I see some people saying they reinstall the game and all of that. Definitely not necessary.
