Hi, Does anyone know what kind of cancer or canker this maple tree has?

Each year I am always surprised at how healthy the canopy is for how devastating the damage looks from the canker. The canker has been slowly growing for the last 10years.

We’re just waiting for a strong wind storm to fell the tree. Location in southern Ontario, Canada.
