Hi
My first baby come naturally on May 2023 at 41+6. At the beginning I opted out for a water birth, but I developed fever and they transferred me to the theatre. There they put me on my back and even I was trying to push my son was not moving at all. Due to the presence of meaconium the said they will try to take him out the forceps and if is not working they will do a C-section. On my way to the surgery room I was pushing due to the strong contraction even if I had an epidural. My son moved a bit on the way so when they helped him with the forceps I was pushing as well. He come out, but they had to perform an episiotomy to fit the forceps and due to this I end up having a 4th degree tear.
Now pregnant with my second on 36 weeks, trying to to decide over another vaginal birth or a C-Section. I’ve healed very well and I don’t have a faces problem but I have a minor bladder incontinence and this just when I have a cold and I sneeze or cough. I really want to give birth vaginal again, but they said I might have to fistula rupture with the second. Even if I didn’t have any with my previous birth. Even if I will not tear at all.
I really want to hear similar birth stories so I can level up my expectations. My first birth experience was so intense and I will love to have another birth less stressful than my first was.
